• Sky afire with all the rings of the rainbow
• Green lost in the blue that bleaches
• Into a yellow haze, blushes
• Orange, pink, red etched with
• Golden clouds drifting lazily
• A shimmering spread of liquid life
• In the water only one trail
• Rippling ever wider from
• Billowing sails over a wooden cradle
• A ship ahead towards a new beginning
• The dawn of day and journey one
• At the wheel stands a woman
• Hand steadily steering towards the sun
• The stars a guide to her glad eyes
• Waterways and winddirections
• Organised in her head; the navigator
• Then in the middle of the ship
• Jumping from one rope to another
• A man, each technique for catching wind
• In his hands controlling speed and sail
• The challenge chasing him ever foward
• On the front deck, God stands, arms folded
• His commands ringing across the ship
• Praise and warning, task and encouragement
• Each a grin on their face at the land ahead
• A task impossible, an ocean to cross
• They go for it, in faith following the captain
• A trinity to conquer the world for the Cross
